Alan Onma rejected MRO in Lagos of neglecting Eastern Airports on the site
Air Peace President Head Elon Onma has dismissed the allegations by the southeast citizens that they ignored their domestic base at Lagos Airport instead of Anugu or Anambra Airports, citing Arab-Naira MRO.
Onyema directly responded to the WhatsApp platform IGBO communication professionals.
He said that Air Peace was disappointed with its original intentions to site the project at Anugu Airport after approval by the Anugu state government and approval of investment of millions.
Onyema in his words:
“On Anugu talk, please check some news during Governor Ugavuni's government. I officially visited the state several times, held meetings with the governor and his cabinet, which with my intention should be given land to make this MRO, which will be the greatest in Africa, by the grace of God.
Our intentions were announced. In fairness, the governors really wanted. However, the general conspiracy and selfish interests of unknown others failed our intentions.
Nobody gave us land. Some families started claiming ownership of some land given to us. Airport land! The struggle started. Nothing came to all my shuttle for Enugu. I was suffering.
At Anambra Airport, I paid for the land for MRO facility. I paid more than N100m for the land there. The next thing was that some communities and families warned me that the land at the airport was his. The state government had no right to construct the airport without their permission!
I proceeded. The land is still empty, empty.
I believe that the time has come to see in the mirror of IGBOS and see who their true enemies are. When they gaze in the mirror, the real enemies will be staring back to them. Come, as a person, we start self-examination before starting the complaint!
We mourn everything about everything, blame everyone, except every other tribe, except ourselves!
We are destroying the Igbo land by blaming others.
How many NDI Igbo can now invest safely in Igboland? I have not visited my hometown in three and a half years due to serious security situation in my area.
I achieved a major expansion of land to create an international hospital and a five -star hotel resort. The dream has already gone.
Allow others to be self-scientific before convicting them. ,

Crisis communication: There are four lessons from Alumelu's heir holdings memo here
By Tony Onma, PhD.
Crisis communication is one of the most sensitive and high-day roles in corporate leadership. When there is a tragedy, silence or misunderstanding can reduce confidence, while clarity, sympathy and quick action can maintain reliability and increasing flexibility.
After the September 16, 2025 Afraland Tovers Fire Insident, the recent memorandum of Mr. Tony Alumelu, President of Heir Holdings, gives examples of the main principles of effective crisis communication. There are four lessons from their internal memorandum (attaching) for the group employees:
1. Expresses sympathy and shared sorrows – He begins to emphasize the irreparableness of colleagues, acknowledging losses in human words. This coombs' (2007) aligns with the statusal crisis communication theory (SCCT), which highlights the importance of compassion and anxiety as primary response strategies in high-effects crisis, including fatal effects.
2. Provides personal commitment – By reducing his visit to the United Nations General Assembly to return home, he demonstrates personal accountability and respect for the victims. It refers to Benoite (1997) image restoration theory, which suggests that leaders should indicate corrective or restorative functions to maintain validity during crises.
3. Confers collective flexibility – Memo encourages employees to reach unhappy colleagues and announce a minute's silence and future monument. These measures are the channel sorrows in shared rituals, which strengthen organizational solidarity in a moment of vulnerability.
4. External support accepts – By thanking emergency respondents and public, communication envisions the cycle of sympathy and strengthens transparency.
Overall, heir holdings examples suggest that the effective crisis is not about communication public relations spin, but about the truth with assurance of sympathy, personal leadership and collective flexibility. The memorandum gives the example of the best practice in the corporate environment of Nigeria, where many leaders stay away in the moments of the tragedy.
As Kombs (2007) reminds us, “The priority of an organization in the response to the crisis should be the physical and psychological welfare of the stakeholders.” In other words, the words should be restored before explaining.
God should relax the bereaved and accept the souls of the departed.
