Local and international energy stakeholders are set to converge on Lagos for the 12th edition of the Nigeria Energy Exhibition and Conference to be held at the Landmark Centre, Lagos from October 28 to 30, 2025.
Organized by Informa Markets, the 2025 edition, themed ‘Empowering Nigeria through Investment, Innovation and Partnership’, will bring together energy professionals, policymakers and innovators to discuss the country’s power challenges and explore investment-driven solutions across the energy value chain.
Speaking at a press conference in Lagos on Tuesday, organizers said this year's expanded agenda would focus on unlocking capital, accelerating policy reforms and deploying the technology needed to build a reliable and sustainable power sector.
Exhibition Manager, Energy Portfolio – MEA, Informa Markets, Ade Yesufu said over 8,500 professionals including commissioners, developers, regulators, financiers and technology providers are expected to attend three days of high-level summits, technical sessions and interactive exhibitions.
According to him, Nigeria Energy has developed into a leading platform to collaborate and deal in generation, transmission, distribution, renewable energy, off-grid systems and energy efficiency.
With the country still struggling with infrastructure shortages and slow-moving reforms, Yesufu said the 2025 edition aims to encourage actionable conversations on public-private partnerships, regulatory coherence and opportunities in hydrogen, decentralized solar and grid digitalization.

This year's conference will feature industry thought leaders including Sadiq Wanka, Special Adviser to the President on Power Infrastructure; Lagos State Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Biodun Ogunleye; Chief Executive Officer of Azura Power, Edu Okeke; Dr. Chinnan Dickwal, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the African Energy Council; and Mokhtar Bounor, CEO of Agbin Power.
Along with the conference, the Nigeria Energy Exhibition will reportedly host over 200 exhibitors across six sectors: energy consumption and management, smart metering and solutions, backup power systems, transmission and distribution, batteries and e-mobility, and renewable and clean energy.
According to the organisers, the event remains a platform for meaningful dialogue, partnership and investment in West Africa's power industry.
“Whether you are a policy maker, developer, investor or solution provider, this is where West Africa's power sector connects and grows,” the statement said.
