A thought leader has simplified what inspires entrepreneurship and offered advice to Nigerians, especially female business enthusiasts.
The women's leader, Ella Chioma Ezedileje, said: “Find a problem, solve it, and make money”.
He spoke at a forum for business leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals from across Nigeria on ‘Business Balance and Beyond Exclusive 2025’ in Port Harcourt, saying it was a transformational gathering that explored how innovation, well-being and enterprise can drive sustainable personal and economic growth.
In his keynote address, Ezedilije urged Nigerians to take greater responsibility for their financial future by embracing entrepreneurship and innovation rather than waiting for government intervention.
“The truth is that the government doesn't have the capacity to meet everyone's needs, there are so many of us, so entrepreneurship is on the rise. We're creating value, solving problems, and building dynasties along the way. If you've got a problem to solve, you'll make money. That's the heart of entrepreneurship.”
Ezedileje, popularly known as Veronica's daughter, who presented on the theme 'Level Up: The 360 Life', stressed that self-reliance and creativity remain the strongest paths to economic empowerment.
“For so long, we have said, the government will do this or that, but the truth is that the government can't do it all. Do something for yourself.”
Speaking on the economic potential of Nigeria’s youth population, Hasantu Adegbite, a women economic empowerment expert, said youth and women should be prioritized in the country’s development agenda.
“Nigeria has the largest youth population globally. If we are to build this nation to the next level it is important not only for the government but for all of us as citizens to invest in entrepreneurship and skills development, especially among our youth and women.”
He said that when more citizens produce goods and services, the economy naturally becomes stronger, making entrepreneurship the key to sustainable national development.
He said: “That's why entrepreneurship is on the rise. We're creating value, solving problems, and building dynasties along the way. If you've got a problem to solve, you'll make money. That's the heart of entrepreneurship.”
She continued: “Some of you were very ambitious, you had great goals but somehow got married and had kids and became a stay-at-home mom, you never intended to be a stay-at-home mom.
“For some of you, a lot may have happened that caused you trouble, but I am telling you there is a way, there is a hack.
“If you want to become an expert in some field, try investing an hour a day to learn in that field, it works.
“The bad experiences you had are there to prepare you, you need good people, bad people end up ugly, you need people who will support your journey, you need people. People have been my greatest asset.
“Will you turn your pain into strength, or let your pain go to waste? Make sure your pain is creating something and creating something good.”
The program endeavored to help participants reorganize their lives across four key areas, health, money, relationships and leadership, through practical conversations, expert insights and real-life stories.

Digital health advocate (Aproco Doctor) Chinonso Agemba urged attendees to manage their stress levels, even though stress can be good for the body. He advocated weightlifting as an important means of strengthening the muscles needed to strengthen bones as we age.
On his part, Olushola Olaiye, a business strategist, who also appeared as the keynote speaker, addressed an important topic on business development systems.
He said: “Policy in your life and business gives you restrictions and discipline. Make a personal rule that you do not let things go either way.
“Purpose gives you direction not only for what you can do, but also for what you can't do, don't eat your seeds but plant them. Your time too, many people are wasting their time. If you build a business where everything goes, you cannot succeed.

“Some of you are hiring your girlfriend's little brother. The spirit of excellence should flow from the top down, from you to everyone around you.”
Additionally, tax consultant Tunde Belloe analyzed Nigeria's evolving tax environment ahead of tax reform scheduled to commence in 2026, while sales and marketing expert Frank Somtochukwu Okonkwo, also known as El Clasico, enthralled the audience with an insightful session on closing sales and building customer trust.
