Unitrust Insurance Company Limited has strengthened ties with the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB), the intermediary arm of the industry that controls over 70 percent market share.
Unitrust expressed its appreciation for the continued support and strengthening of collaborative relationships within the insurance industry in a courtesy call on the Council recently.
The visit provided an opportunity for Unitrust Insurance to formally thank NCRIB for its unwavering partnership and support, which has significantly contributed to the Company's remarkable performance over the years.
Speaking during the meeting, the Managing Director of Unitrust Insurance, Adedayo Arawojolu, highlighted the company’s growth trajectory, noting that Unitrust recorded a substantial growth in gross written premium (GWP) from N14 billion to N24.7 billion in 2025.
He attributed this achievement to strategic focus, operational discipline and industry collaboration, particularly with NCRIB and its members.
Adedayo used the occasion to inform the Chairman and Council members present that Unitrust Insurance has raised MCR to over N1 billion, a milestone that underlines the financial strength, resilience and confidence of shareholders in the company.

“This achievement clearly demonstrates that Unitrust Insurance is well-capitalized, stable and strategically positioned to meet market demands while protecting policyholders,” he said.
In his response, NCRIB Chairman Ekeoma Ezebe expressed pleasure at the visit and commended Unitrust Insurance for its growth, professionalism and continued engagement with the Council.
He also praised the company's remarkable support during his investment, calling Unitrust a trusted partner to the brokerage community.
The NCRIB Chairman assured Unitrust Insurance of the Council's continued support and cooperation, reiterating their commitment to work together throughout the year to strengthen industry relationships and pursue sustainable growth.
The visit concluded with shared optimism, with both organizations reaffirming their resolve to deepen cooperation in advancing the interests of brokers, insurers and policyholders.
