The National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) has expressed hope that the AI-powered learning platform recently launched in Ogun State will bridge the gap in educational resources and provide students with a more interactive and engaging learning experience.
Commending the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, on the launch to enhance delivery quality knowledge and education development in the state, the student body said that “the AI-powered learning platform is a testament to the commitment of the Ogun State Government to leverage technology to improve education. The platform will provide students with access to virtual classrooms, online resources and interactive learning tools, enabling them to learn at their own pace and explore new concepts in a more engaging manner.
In a statement jointly signed by NAOSS National President, Olubodun Olalekan, and General Secretary, Adesanya Peter, described the initiative as an unprecedented initiative that will revolutionize education in the state, noting that the innovative platform will enhance teaching and learning, provide students with access to cutting-edge technology and equip them with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital age.
“NAOSS appreciates the vision and initiative of the state government to introduce this platform, which is expected to improve academic performance and outcomes in the state,” the statement said.
Similarly, the students organization has commended the Ogun State Government for setting up a 100,000 capacity poultry pen at Odeda Farm Settlement.
According to NAOSS, the agriculture initiative is expected to create employment opportunities for youth and students, provide them with a source of income and enable them to contribute to the state economy.
It further added that the poultry project will provide internship opportunities for students pursuing agriculture-related programmes, thereby giving them practical experience and practical skills in poultry farming.
“The establishment of the poultry pen is an important step towards promoting agricultural development in Ogun State. NAOSS believes that this initiative will not only provide employment opportunities but also contribute to the food security and economic development of the state.
“The association appreciates the state government for its efforts to promote agricultural development and encourage youth participation in this sector.

“NAOSS also notes that the poultry pen project provides entrepreneurship opportunities for out-of-school youths and students engaged in small-scale farming. This initiative will enable them to expand their businesses and increase their income, improve their economic prospects and contribute to the economic growth of the state. The association believes that the project will have a positive impact on the lives of many youths in Ogun State.
“The 100,000 capacity poultry pen is a model of large-scale poultry farming, introducing students and youth to modern agricultural practices and technologies. No doubt, this initiative will inspire more youth to take up agriculture as a career, contributing to the agricultural development and food security of the state.
“NAOSS commends Governor Dapo Abiodun’s commitment to education and youth empowerment. These initiatives demonstrate the dedication of his administration to equip Ogun State students with the necessary skills and knowledge for success. The Association pledges its support to the efforts of the state government in promoting education, youth empowerment and agricultural development.
