The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye, will today lead a special prayer dedicated to singles, mature singles, waiting mothers, expectant mothers and their families.
According to a statement signed by Oladele Balogun, Special Assistant to the General Overseer (Administration) The Throne of Grace, National Headquarters, Ebute-Meta, Lagos, the special prayer section will be held during the November 2025 Thanksgiving service.
The statement indicated that the special prayer was based on the understanding of some nationally important issues. According to the statement, data from recent population surveys indicate that single and mature singles (aged 20-45) represent over 40 per cent of the adult population, indicating a vibrant but growing segment of those seeking marital settlement in Nigeria.
“Millions of waiting and expectant mothers globally are involved in families trusting God for the fruit of the womb – a deeply spiritual and emotional journey for many. With RCCG's presence in more than 190 countries around the world, these groups are an important part of the Church's fellowship community, united by faith, hope and prayer.”

The statement also extended an invitation to a global audience for RCCG's monthly Thanksgiving service. “People in and around Lagos are encouraged to be physically present. RCCG branded buses will be deployed at major bus stops from 6:30am onwards. Modest gifts, as a token of love, await our visitors.
“For participants in remote locations, the service will be live streamed on all RCCG social media platforms, ensuring full virtual participation from anywhere in the world.”
The statement also revealed that the thanksgiving service will provide divine encounters, restoration and testimonials for all participants, especially for families trusting in God for new beginnings, fruits of the womb and funny inventions among others.
“The General Overseer will serve under a special campaign to break the yoke, release joy, and answer participants' long-awaited prayers. With God, nothing will be impossible.”
