“I would like to wish all the best to the players, technical team, managers, coaches, physios, doctors and all the people who have done a wonderful job for the semi-finals,” Aina said.
“It's been amazing to see you play the way you know you can. This is a quick message to all of you: do your best, and good luck. I'll be rooting for you from home, sending you all my prayers and best wishes.”
Troost-Ekong also expressed pride in the team's progress and confidence in their ability to advance at every level.
“My brothers, the day has come. I'm really excited to see you all take on Morocco tonight,” he said.
“I just want to say how proud I am of the team. Everything you're doing is giving me a lot of energy. Wherever I go, people are talking about the Super Eagles; you're getting better and better.
“The coach, the diamond formation in midfield and the way the players are moving around is working really well, and I can't wait to watch the game. If you win against Morocco, you will be one step closer to taking home the trophy.
“Stay together and enjoy this moment. Some of you are playing in the semi-finals for the first time; enjoy it, because these will be some of the most unforgettable moments of your life.
“Fight for each other. In the end, you should be able to look in the mirror and say you gave everything. Keep doing what you're doing. I believe you will win this game. I will be supporting and yelling at my TV.
“I love you all; I believe in you. Go out there and win it.”
