Organizers of the upcoming Eco Fiesta, Dosh and Wells Company, have explained that the vision of the fiesta is to create a vibrant, inclusive hub where celebration meets commerce – a space that reflects the spirit of Lagos while supporting local talent and enterprise.
This was made known in a statement to the media signed by the Media Coordinator of the project, Afolayan Adebiyi, Idris Aregbe.
Promoters, Damilare Osho and Wale Oyebanji, said Eko Fiesta was born out of a real pain-point, noting that they identified expatriate Nigerians and even visitors from other parts of the country who travel home during the festive December but struggle to find a one-stop place that offers authentic cultural experiences, shopping, entertainment and networking. Combines opportunities.

The promoters believed that Lagos in December is full of concerts and parties, but there is a gap for something beyond entertainment that connects the festivities with purpose.
Eko Fiesta, billed for December 22 to 24, 2025, bridges that gap by creating a space where people can enjoy music, art and culture while discovering local brands, artisans and entrepreneurs.
According to the statement, the festival is not just about entertainment, it is also about creating visibility for small businesses and giving attendees meaningful ways to connect with local culture and craftsmanship.
Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Idris Aregbey, commended the organizers of the Lagos Fiesta, saying the project closely aligns with the mission of the Ministry to promote creativity, tourism and culture that truly reflect the spirit of Lagos.
The statement further said that Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor, said this while speaking with the organizers in his office.
According to a statement, the Special Adviser further said that what caught the attention of the Ministry was how closely this project aligns with our mission in the Ministry to promote creativity, tourism and culture that truly reflect the spirit of Lagos.
“Echo Fiesta, like every other creative initiative we support, is known for its depth, originality and cultural relevance.”

He further explained that the Ministry has carefully reviewed the framework and finds it well-structured, effective and in line with our values.
He said, “What attracted us was the creative synergy, the way music, art, culture and commerce blend to tell a powerful Lagos story. This harmony perfectly reflects what we stand for.”
He praised the organizers, Dosh & Wells Co., saying, “Our role as a ministry is to identify and support projects that have the potential to make a real impact, and that's something we can often tell from the first presentation.
“As long as a project conveys a positive message and respects our cultural identity, we are always ready to support it”.
Eregbe believed that impact was at the heart of every worthwhile initiative. “At the ministry we believe that a program should not just entertain; it should also empower.
“Eko Fiesta achieves this by giving entrepreneurs a space to connect with diverse audiences, improve their visibility and grow their businesses”.
“By providing entrepreneurs access to new and diverse markets, the event directly strengthens the state's creative economy and encourages sustainable growth. It is a form of economic inclusion that brings the market closer to the people,” he said.
