FBNQuest rebrands corporate identity to Quest Merchant Bank Limited

FBNQuest Merchant Bank Limited has changed its operational name to Quest Merchant Bank Limited following a complete change in name and corporate identity, after receiving all the necessary corporate and regulatory approvals.

“This name change represents a significant milestone in the bank’s rich history and a deliberate strategic repositioning that reflects our resilience, strong track record and long-term growth ambitions. Although our name has evolved, our commitment to our customers, stakeholders and regulators remains unwavering,” Acting MD/CEO Afolabi Olorode said in a statement.

According to Olorode, the name change does not affect the legal or current status of the bank, its management or the nature of its business. He said Quest Merchant Bank Limited remains a duly licensed merchant bank, regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

He revealed that as part of the change, the bank is updating its branding, communications and digital platforms to reflect the new name. He said the bank will continue to provide a full range of merchant banking, advisory and capital markets services to customers.

“During this period, some legacy references may appear at select touchpoints as the updates are gradually being completed,” Olorode said, reiterating that all existing contracts, customer relationships and obligations of the bank will remain valid, binding and fully enforceable even after the name change.
