Infinix Nigeria on Sunday, during a special visit by Afrobeats sensation, Davido, provided special rewards and promotional offers to customers at its flagship store in Jabi Lake Mall, Abuja.
The activation attracted a huge crowd as buyers got the benefit of discounted prices on selected smartphone models, cashback offers on premium devices and a raffle draw with prizes ranging from home appliances to electronic gadgets.
Davido's presence created an energetic atmosphere in the store, leading to an increase in footfall and strong sales performance.
Speaking at the event, Victor Ojetunde, Exclusive Manager, Infinix Nigeria, said the initiative is aimed at appreciating customers during the festive season while strengthening the brand’s partnership with its global ambassador.
He explained that the company intentionally scheduled the activation during its peak sales period to achieve maximum impact.
Ojetunde explained that customers who made purchases during the event enjoyed instant rewards, which included ₦5,000 off on selected smartphones and cashback deals on Infinix 50 series and 60 Hi devices.
He said the raffle draw was designed to boost customer engagement, stressing that the celebrity presence has already resulted in more traffic and better sales at the Abuja store.
Also, Olusegun Adebayo, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Harmony Group, which manages the Infinix flagship outlet at Jabi Lake Mall, said the program was focused on building lasting relationships with customers rather than merely attracting attention.
According to Adebayo, the partnership with Infinix has been beneficial and Davido's presence was aimed at giving both regular and VIP customers a memorable shopping experience.
He explained that the casual setting allowed buyers to interact freely with the artists while exploring Infinix's range of products.
He also stressed the importance of after-sales support, warranty services and customer care as key benefits offered at the flagship store.
Adebayo also revealed that Infinix introduced new smartphone models with extensive cashback promotions during the event.
Highlighting the importance of the location, he said the Abuja outlet is strategically important as Infinix’s first flagship store in Nigeria and the entire West Africa.
The event concluded with a brief meet and greet session with Davido, along with gift presentations and promotional activities throughout the day.
