Jigawa State Governor Omar Nnamdi has sworn in three newly appointed Special Advisers as part of efforts to strengthen governance and accelerate policy implementation in the state.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Hamisu Mohammed Gumel, the oath of office was administered at the Council Chambers of the Government House in Dutse.

Nnamdi said the appointments were based on merit, integrity, experience and ability to contribute meaningfully to the delivery of government programs and policies. He described the swearing-in as an important step towards taking forward the development agenda of the administration.
The Governor reminded the appointees that public service is a trust, stressing that the oath they took represents a solemn commitment to the people of Jigawa State. He urged them to discharge their duties with honesty, dedication and humility while keeping the interest of the state paramount.
Responding on behalf of the appointees, the Special Adviser on National Assembly Affairs, Kabiru Hassan Sugungam, thanked the Governor for the confidence reposed in him and pledged his loyalty to the administration and the State Executive Council.
Sugungam said the advisers will work to support the successful implementation of the administration's 12-point agenda in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, and contribute to the governor's vision for Jigawa State.
