Knight Frank explains withdrawal from France partnership

Knight Frank, a global property group, has explained why it has withdrawn its partnership with Estate Prestige, a luxury real estate agent in the south of France.

In a recent statement reported by online property platform PropertyWire, the group said the action was a reflection of its “evolving strategic priorities”, however, adding that it still has a presence in France with a strong focus on Paris and the French Riviera.

“We have an ambitious growth plan for our European business and we are expanding in several key markets where our clients need us most,” said Vincent Bollaert, chief executive of Knight Frank in France. He added, “We look forward to announcing these new relationships at the appropriate time.”

In late September, the group also announced the end of its partnership with Paris-based Junot Fine Properties. Meanwhile, its 15-year tie-up with US-based real estate brokerage Douglas Elliman was concluded in June.

Our business has always been fundamentally about trust and integrity, and to remain in business for decades like this, the sky is truly your limit.”

Together, we have shaped skylines, built communities and redefined excellence in real estate. The next chapter begins now.” said Frank Okosun, senior partner at Knight Frank Nigeria.

Continuing, Okosun revealed, “Our business is about trust, strong integrity and professionalism without which we would not be in business, and what we want to do now is to train the youth so that they can become leaders in this industry.”
