After removing the federal office on long covid in Covid funding from state health departments, the Trump administration has now completely erased the online hub for federal Kovid -19 resources. In its place, there is now a site that promotes unproven idea that epidemic virus Sars-Cov-2 was generated from a laboratory in China, which increases the global health crisis.

Navigating for covid.gov brings a clever site with rich materials that exclude arguments and allegations supporting a laboratory-based origin of epidemic and later cover-up by American health authorities and Democrats.

Earlier, the site provided quick quick references for the Kovid -19 resources, including links to vaccines, testing, treatment and long covid information. It also provided a link to resources to address the Covid-19 vaccine misconceptions and to face misinformation. All this now seems to have gone, although some similar information still remains on a separate Covid-19 page hosted by the Disease Control and Prevention Center.

However, there is no definite answer to how the Covid-19 epidemic began, the scientific data available on the subject indicates a spilover event from a live wild animal market in Wuhan, China. The scientific community sees it to a large extent as the most likely landscape, which has been given data so far and knows how the previous outbreak virus originated, including Sars-Cov-1. In contrast, the laboratory original hypothesis largely depends on the proximity of a research laboratory, which is the first matters, estimates and mistrust of the Chinese government, which is not upcoming with information about the early days of the health crisis. Overall, the question of the origin of Sars-Cov-2 has become extremely political, as most of the epidemics have other aspects.
