Nigeria's oil production fell 6% to 1.6 mbpd in November – NUPRC


The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) disclosed this in its December 2025 National Liquid Hydrocarbon Production Report.

On a month-on-month basis, national oil production also weakened, falling from 1.698 million bpd in October 2025 to 1.599 million bpd in November, the data showed.

According to the regulator, combined crude oil and condensate production in November fluctuated between a low of 1.54 million barrels of oil per day (bpd) and a peak of 1.79 million bpd during the month.

Nigeria's average crude oil production in November was 96 percent of its OPEC quota of 1.5 million bpd, the report said.

“Average crude oil production in November was 96% of the OPEC quota (1.5 mbpd). Daily average production in November was 1,599,054 barrels per day, including both crude oil (1,436,005 bopd) and condensate (163,049 bopd).”
