Nature's Renaissance International (NRI) is set to launch its Creativity Challenge, a nationwide digital competition that aims to reward creativity and promote healthy living through the use of its UATD i Charcoal Toothpaste. The challenge will commence on November 26, 2025 and prizes worth up to N70 million will be awarded in the adult and teen categories.
Clinton Brown Odiagbe, professor and chief executive officer of NRI, said the initiative was designed to foster indigenous creativity while deepening national belief in natural well-being. He described UATD i Charcoal Toothpaste as a natural blend designed to support gum health, whiten teeth and freshen breath.
“It thoroughly cleans the mouth, removes stains, reduces plaque and soothes tender gums,” he said. “With continued use, it leaves users feeling refreshed and healthy every day.”
The challenge invites Nigerians aged 18 to 60 to compete in the adult category, while those aged 10 to 16 qualify for the teenage group. Contestants are required to purchase two packs of toothpaste, create a 45-second product demonstration video, and create another 45-second ambassador-style video. All entries must be posted on Instagram, Facebook or TikTok using the hashtags #NRICreativityChallenge and #NRICares, after which the winners will be determined through public voting.
Ikpema Richard, project manager and host of the competition, said the competition gives youth the opportunity to turn simple creative ideas into meaningful opportunities.
“There is a wide range of prizes available. Two adult winners, male and female, will each receive a one-year ambassador deal, a new car and a year's product supply, totaling over N50 million. The teen category offers scholarship packages worth N10 million for two winners. Influencers will also be rewarded, with the top five creators earning N1 million each, and 10 others will receive N500,000 each,” he said.
To enter, participants must follow NRI's social media platforms, visit www.nrilimited.com, and purchase a promotional toothpaste package worth N6,000. The creativity challenge aligns with NRI's mission to promote good health, abundant wealth and national empowerment through natural solutions that unlock economic potential. The launch comes as Nigeria prepares for new tax laws in 2026, sparking fresh conversations about innovative financing for the country's health sector. At the 66th National Health Council meeting in Calabar, Cross River State, Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Iziak Salako, urged stakeholders to explore new strategies that can cushion the sector against the fiscal changes expected from the new tax regime. “We cannot continue to finance health in the same way when our fiscal landscape is changing,” he said. “With new tax laws taking effect next year, we must design new strategies that ensure revenue flows into health, protect the vulnerable and preserve the gains we have made.” While national policies push for new ways to secure Nigeria's health future, the NRI Creativity Challenge highlights the role of private sector innovation in helping citizens adopt healthy lifestyles. The organization says it will continue to support initiatives that combine well-being, creativity and economic empowerment for Nigerians of all age groups.
