Nxled acquired Brooke Van Sickle, MJ Phillips, Mayla Pablo and Jules Tolentino overnight

The Nxled Chameleon overhaul is now complete.

The franchise announced on Thursday that it has acquired superstars Brooke Van Sickle, MJ Phillips and Mayla Pablo and rising young setter Jules Tolentino, overnight establishing it as one of the teams to beat in the PVL All Filipino Conference on January 31.

The rush of free agent acquisitions increased the Chameleons' total number of players to 14 players, 11 of which came from the Petro Gaz Angels, who recently decided he would go on indefinite leave.

Other Petro Gaz players selected by the club were Bang Pineda, Nicole Tiamzon, Jonah Sabate, Janelle Cheng, Ranya Moses, Jelli Tempiatura and AA Adolfo.

Its other three new recruits were Aduke Ogunsanya from Choco Mucho and Abby Marano and Joyme Kagande from the defunct Cherry Tiggo.

He joins a club that retains EJ Laur, Critch McSlang, Jovelin Fernandez and Liane De Guzman.

In their six conferences in the league, Nxled have finished no better than fifth place, which came in the PVL on Tour earlier this year.

But now with an array of weapons, the Chameleons must fight and shoot at the stars. — joey villar
