Our first class experience with British airways

2daystream

While long -racing trips in the business class have been a regular part of our global journey in recent years, for which we are definitely grateful to always, our recent Singapore flights to first class in London were an additional special treatment. Often referred to as 'Super Jumbo', our flights in both directions with British Airways were at one of their A380 with 469 fellow passengers. The first class cabin has only 12 seats and has 1-2–1 format, which ensures a certain sense of space and uniqueness. Many have written earlier, and many will continue to write about airline, aircraft and seat, but this article is about food, especially vegetarian food that is recognized as a VGML food in the industry globally. For someone, who has ordered 'special food' on their flights, the possibility of not being loaded, is being loaded incorrectly, or it is always a matter of concern not to have a standard, so let's see how British Airways looks in our two recent flights.

BA First Class Lounge in Singapore Changi

The 'The Bar' is called and the business class is accessed with a private door within the lounge, it is a small and discrete place to avoid the ever ending and stirring in the bangy. The British Airways and a world travelers are open to the first class, and the aristocratic member of the One World Alliance Partners, this is certainly a sense of uniqueness.

A well -stocked bar and a small la carte menu is from which we selected 'Soya Basmati Biryani', which was labeled on the menu and a taste -filled vegetarian. It was with a packet of ginger beer and tyrails C salt and cider vinegar crisp from artonic. Spending your time here East flight would definitely be a quiet and relaxed dizzy, but our eyes were on another lounge that we knew that it would provide a more exciting culinary experience.

Qantas First Class Lounge in Singapore Changi

Stupid to some extent, like knowledge of pre -flight research and global lounge options, meant that we were always going to have most of our time and meal. On entering, we were surprised at the size of this Qantas signature lounge, and it was not long ago that the attentive employees directed us to a table in the restaurant.

It is not an ordinary lounge restaurant, it is a restaurant that will stand shoulder to shoulder in some best restaurants in cities around the world (if not above). Australian chef Neil Perry, a la carte menu and comprehensive liquor list, is literally something for all. Vegetarian options were clearly labeled as plant -based, and the vigilant waiter also suggested other dishes that could be adapted to make them vegetarian. We dined on baked eggplants with Misso Noodles and a delicious vegetarian noodle soup, which was with a cold glass of Henecane 0.0 non-humid beer beer. We were appropriately affected and would definitely have returned if this restaurant had a center place of the city.

With a late departure and two of the first class lounge in Changi, we were not hungry at all. But certainly for research purposes we decided to order what was prepared for us before trying to get some very important sleep on our 13 -hour flight. The cabin staff were excellent, and explained what was involved in our particular food, and also helped us navigate and suggest other options in the on board menu. In addition to a vegetarian version of the signature canPace, the food was not really good and a picture does not even warrant, what we were served was unimaginable and was not really up to the level you would expect when flying in the first grade. Highlight snow cold Henecane was another can of 0.0 that was served in a cool glass.

Just before reaching London Heathro, breakfast was served and we enjoyed our vegetarian breakfast which was average. As long as it was exciting to scrape Tofu, one would not have gone to a vegetarian sausage or two amies.

BA First Class Lounge in London Heathro

Arriving early, we expected the first -class experience waiting for our flight in London Heathro, and that is what we got. We enjoyed excellent service and delicious food while spending our time in the Concorde room, including vegetarian cream cheese and cucumber sandwich (certainly chopped with their crusts), vegetarian pumpkin resotto and a moving mountain vegetarian veg. The burger was served with vegetarian mayo and vegetarian cheese, which made us happy, and all the above were clearly labeled on the menu. We first went through the galleries, where there were a lot of vegetarian options on the buffet, including a vegetable curry and a broad salad bar. Non -alcoholic beer and non -alcoholic cocktail fulfilled our very pleasant experience in the British Airways Lounge in Heathro.

Once on the board, the vegetarian food was ordered that whatever we were served in the lounge did not reach its heights, but it was created by the crew which were super friendly and are credited with British Airways. We enjoyed a trio of the signature canPace, in which everyone is served first, although our entire plant was based. It was followed by a vegetable and dal salad, on a bed of roasted brinjal, and was followed by a delightful pasteo pasta dish, packed with taste and so far washed with another Henecane 0.0. And then it seems that impossible (based on previous experiences), our vegetarian desert was served and it was not fruit. Not only it was not the fruit, it was a rich and moist vegetarian chocolate cake with fresh strawberries, we were positive VGML in heaven. After very important sleep, we woke up with an excellent breakfast, including fresh juice, oats milk, fruit plate and a vegetarian full English, which was completely completely missing with Tofu and completely with that elusive vegetarian sausage. Much simply, when you add crew, service and food, this was the best experience we have done in a premium cabin on any airline in recent years.

Certainly there were some 'high and climb' on these recent flights with British airways in the first class, which definitely leave some spaces for improvement. We loved that we were able to enjoy the vegetarian versions of the Signature Canepeus that everyone was served in a premium cabin, while we were very impressed by the Cantus First Class Lounge in Changi and the British Airways First Class Lounge in Heathro. But in some way we were also served under equal recipes, and as we have written earlier, it will not make much feeling that passengers who wish to eat vegetarian food can enjoy ice cream, truffles and other sweet behaviors during the flight. Overall, it was impressive, but we can only expect that improvements have been made in the coming years.
