Sanwo-Olu appoints Ayodele Ogunson as LSSTF Executive Secretary

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed Ayodele Ogunson, a security expert, as the Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).

Ogunson was appointed in line with the drive of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration to strengthen the security apparatus of Lagos State and continue to enhance its effectiveness to protect citizens.

According to a circular issued and signed by the Lagos State Head of Service, Bode Agoro on Friday, Ogunson's appointment comes into immediate effect.

Governor Sanwo-Olu also commended the former Executive Secretary of LSSTF, Abdurrazak Balogun for his service to Lagos State.

Agoro said, “Mr Governor uses this medium to sincerely commend the former Executive Secretary, Honorable Dr. Abdurrazak Balogun for his tremendous and invaluable contribution to the development and achievements of the Security Trust Fund, while also wishing him all the best in his future endeavours.”

In a related development, Governor Sanwo-Olu also announced the formation of the Lagos State University Governing Council in line with his administration's commitment to improving the quality of education in state-owned higher institutions.

The members of the Governing Council chaired by Babatunde Ogala (SAN) are Oluseyi Badmus, Bode Makanjuola, Mojisola Tolagbe Taiwo and Professor Shafudeen Amuwo.

Others are Rafiu Adisa Ebitie, FCA; Kofo Durosimi Atty, Dr. Farouk Gumel, Adenike Akanbi, FCA; Biodun Hundayin; and Dr. Remi Desalu.

The formation of the Governing Council was announced in a statement issued and signed by the Head of Service, Bode Agoro, on Friday.
