Watch a staged reading of CAST

CAST PH's (The Company of Actors in Streamlined Theatre) is once again presenting its annual staging. The theme of this year's season (it's 6th) “Re-Orient – ​​Stories from Asian Voices”. As is done every year during the CAST PH Staged Reading Series, the titles of the plays are not revealed in advance. The plays run for four weeks (every Sunday), beginning with Play #1 on January 11, which was English Directed by Sanaz Tosi, directed by Sara Facuri, and starring Mickey Bradshaw-Volante, Justin Pena, Jordan Andrews, Chaye Mogg and Mayne Bustamante-Cade. Play #2 will be presented on January 18th. It will be directed by Jaime del Mundo and star Tarek El Tayech and Nelsito Gomez. On January 25, Play #3 will be directed by Guillen Varela-Luarca. It will star Jenny Zamora, Zoe de Ocampo, Jaime Binay, Francis Makil-Ignacio, Dolly de Leon and Rosalyn Perez, while the stage direction will be read by Monty Uy. The season will conclude on February 1 with Play #4, directed by Kaisa Borromeo. It will star Jillian Ita-As, Kaki Teodoro, George Schultz, Yana Laurel, Alfredo Reyes and Miren Alvarez-Fabregas. The New Year begins with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) PPO Concert V: Prelude January 16, 7:30 pm, at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit, Makati.
