….says advice is needed to help the country's leadership
Adebisi Akande Foundation (AAF) has urged Senator Abu Ibrahim to continue supporting the growth and development of Nigeria with valuable advice.
The AAF Board of Trustees, while honoring Ibrahim on the occasion of his 80th birthday, said that his advice is more needed to help the country's leadership take decisions that will take the country on the leading path among the group of nations.
Describing him as a true nationalist, the foundation said, “Senator Abu Ibrahim is a long-time associate and friend of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Chief Bisi Akande and has contributed to national development, even on a small scale, as an active member of the AAF.”
In a release signed on behalf of the Professor and Secretary of the Board of Trustees, Isaac Adewole, Professor Olu Aina, the Chairman said that Senator Abu Ibrahim's 80th birthday was “characterized by dedication, integrity and steadfast commitment to enhancing our community and nation”.
According to former Health Minister Adewole, Senator Ibrahim's many years of service as a senator and board member has left a lasting legacy on our “organization, setting high standards of excellence and inspiring those who will follow in your footsteps.”
“As a senator, your leadership, wisdom and steadfast advocacy for the people have been a guiding light through countless challenges and victories. Your voice has consistently championed justice, fairness and progress, earning you the respect of colleagues across the political spectrum.
The release further said that “Your enduring legacy as a true nationalist is reflected in your tireless efforts to promote unity, encourage development and instill pride in our shared heritage.
“The values you espouse will continue to shape our collective future for the better. As you celebrate this special occasion, may you find joy in the love of family and friends, and may you be proud of the many lives you have impacted over the years. We honor your remarkable accomplishments and look forward to many more years of your wisdom and guidance.” Adewole added.
